looking to create the following interval workout. 5 * 800 with 90 second recovery between each. Rest for 3 mins and then repeat the 5 * 800 with 90 secs rest.

I'm looking to create the following interval workout. 5 * 800 with 90 second recovery between. Rest for 3 mins and then repeat the 5 * 800 with 90 secs rest.

Run - 800.00 m - Heart Rate Zone 4 (Threshold)
Rest - 01:30 min:sec
Repeat 5 Times - result

Rest - 03:00 min:sec

 Repeat   2 Times

Cool down - Lap Button Press
When transferred to phone, the outcome is that the rest of 1.30 is repeated 5 times and not the 800 plus the rest of 90 seconds. 
Has anyone managed to create the type of workout listed in my subject. 
  • Yes, I have used plenty of interval workouts on my watch.  are you creating on phone app or website?   

    I'd need to see a screen shot to know that you are configuring the interval just right.  I've always found it to be pretty straight forward on the website. :-/  

    I've never used my phone to do it how ever...  

    The 'repeat 2 times'... I would just remake the first interval, I've never done a interval set.. within an interval set.... I'd create a warmup, 5x Interval Repeat (800m and 90s recv).... recover 3min....create another 5x Interval Repeat (800m and 90s recv)... then cooldown.
