Garmin Forerunner 235 Attitude

Attitude problems: I don't trust the check attitude of my Forerunner 235. The difference with the attitude of friends can be 100 or 200%....How can I make my forerunner better the check the attitude? Ik want to no how many meters the climbing is.

  • There's not much you can do. The FR235 doesn't have a barometric altimeter, and relies on GPS for altitude, and that is notoriously unstable.

Thank you for the answer. Do you have a suggestion for a better Garmin sport watch, is there any alternative? I am sorry I bought this watch...because ik train for a mountain marathon on the JungFrau....

  • For mountain ultra marathons I would recommend the FR945, but it's expensive and relatively new, meaning that it hasn't been extensively tested yet.

And if not the 945, then have a look at the 645 or a Fenix 5+.
