Just got device - only get one day from the battery?

I am using it only for sleep monitoring and with GPS only one hour and the rest of the day not wearing the watch (the heart rate light is not permanently on). I turned off Bluetooth and backlight and did a hard reset. No IQ apps being used.

Battery is totally drained in 24 hours.

I just wore it for about four hours of activity monitoring whilst sitting down indoors and the battery was down to 77%. I go through about 50% of the battery if I use it for one night sleep monitoring.

Last night the screen showed half battery but when I woke the watch up to wear it then suddenly no battery capacity showing. It later powered off.

Is this normal because I think I will be returning this as faulty because it's barely over 10% of what the manufacturer claims
  • I get 7 days with all monitoring/bluetooth turned on and five 30 minute GPS activities during that time ... so yeah, yours isn't normal. Battery life is one of the best features of the 235.

  • Sounds like you’re doing everything right, turning off Bluetooth and hard reset. I keep Bluetooth off unless I need it and have had to do hard reset a few times, but normally it lasts several days (FR 230)
