Battery getting sucked dry

Hi.

I've had my forerunner 235 for about a year now and it's been great up until this week. Overnight the watch goes from about 90% to 10% charge. I haven't changed any settings. Anyone else having a similar issue ? I've rebooted the watch this morning to see if it solves the issue.

Check if your pulse monitor/heart rate tracker is constantly on. Put the watch down on a flat surface. If you watch the green light on the back - does it stay on or does it go to sleep mode after like 30 seconds? If it constantly is on you need to replace the watch.

If not - try to change watch face. Does it still drain battery?

Still not working? Time to do a hard reset. The the upper left button for 20 seconds.

    Did it work?

Solved ! I hadn't noticed at first but the two buttons for moving between menus (the two buttons on the bottom left) were not having any effect and meny scroll was frozen. After 2 hard resets the watch is working normally again now and battery life is now back to its normal 7 days or so. Cheers.
