Hi. I received my Forerunner 235 a week ago and have tried it 3 times now. First two times the gps tracked my running flawlessly. Checking the map in Garmin Connect showed my track with a high precision for the first two runs.
However, last day I had a run with a friend and this time it messed up completely when we were closing in to the finish line. Check out these pictures. First picture shows my Forerunner 235, second picture is from my friend’s mobile phone.
It seems like my device stopped tracing towards the end compared to my friends map. His map is a correct representation of our run.
The strange thing is that my unit showed the right distance, total time and speed when we compared our data. What can possibly have happened to my unit? Maybe just a one time bug that occurred or something else? Any thoughts?
