View sleep data directly on watch

Hi everyone, I tried searching for an answer to this but I couldn't find anything. I got my Garmin 235 a couple weeks ago and I LOVE it! But there's one nagging thing that I can't figure out so I'm hoping someone here can help.

According to the manual the Activity Tracking widget tracks your daily step count, step goal, distance traveled, calories burned and sleep statistics. I'd love to see my sleep stats on the watch but I can't find them anywhere. I know I can do this on the Garmin app on my iPhone but I'd like to be able to see sleep stats on the watch itself.

When I look at my activity tracking widget I see total steps, distance, calories but no sleep info. I tried pressing the "start" button and up/down buttons too in case there's another screen but that didn't do anything. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for your help/advice! ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1307460.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1307461.jpg
  • I don't think displaying sleep on the watch is an option. Things like steps, distance, and goals are things that are done directly on the watch but the sleep analysis is done on the backend by Garmin servers after your overnight movement stats are uploaded to the Connect servers.

Thanks R_Tellis. It still seems strange to me that they would put that in the manual though. No worries I'll just use the app to view my sleep data.
