Can't change clock to 24hr

Hi,

I've been trying to change the clock format on my 235 to 24H all day with no luck. On my android, I have been choosing the device, going to Device Settings - System - Time Format, and changing to 24 h. When I go back from that screen it says 'Settings Saved' but the watch never changes. I have synched from the app and that hasn't helped. When I have tried to sync from the watch, it just sits there and says 'Transferring...' for ages. The android app says the watch and phone are connected

Have turned the watch on and off, rebooted the phone, turned bluetooth on and off, but nothing seems to help..

Any thoughts?

Connect it to your computer until Garmin find a solution for all the problems that we have with the synchronisation.... and cross your finger and hope they find a solution

Can you do it on the watch itself? Long press the "Up" button -> Clock Options -> Time Format -> 24 hours.

Ha!! Never knew I could do that! Thanks for the hint. You've no idea how many times I googled how to do that and that never came up. I ended up connecting the thing to my computer and installing Garmin Express which promptly got me a firmware update. That appears to have solved the problem, probably more by luck than judgement! I am getting notifications again, and today's run uploaded in short order.
