No Steps History on Garmin App (Forerunner 235)

Can anyone help with the fact that my App is not showing any Step history on my Garmin Connect (and Express) apps? When I originally got my device and set up the app previous days steps were showing but now I have no data. Struggling to find a solution in the user settings too. Would appreciate any tips/pointers. Many thanks.
  • The first question is whether it's possible that you haven't synced.

    Is it possible that you have more than one Connect account and your data is going to the wrong account? That can happen if you go to the other account one time. Express and Connect will default to that alternate account.

    Thanks for getting back to me. Yes, I sync at least once a day and all my runs and walks are logged and stored OK, it's the steps that are missing. I'll make sure I only have the one Garmin account set up though (not sure how I would have erroneously set up more then one though). Cheers.
  • A lot of people have more than 1 Connect account. I personally have 2. The reason I have 2 is for testing purposes in order to compare results from 2 different devices. If they were in one account, they would be combined.

    I don't think it has anything to do with multiple accounts. I have one account. My sleep and steps data have been missing from Garmin Connect since January 31. This is a known issue that Garmin seems to be ignoring. Activities still sync fine, just the steps and sleep data fail to syc to Garmin Connect. No solution in sight...
