Watch wont start since crashing after whatsapp notifcation

Hi, i received a notification from whatsapp on the 235, tried to open it to read, and then it just crashed to a black screen. Now the watch won't start properly. I have tried all the usual button based reset options, and plugging it into my pc to attempt through GE now shows the device as unrecognisable. Its all updated and on 7.50.

Is there any way at all to do some kind of even harder reset via the pc? or some other way to force it to un-bug itself?

    sigh, and of course it self-resolves 10 seconds after i hit send on this forum post.
    For those interested, all i did was plug it into the computer again, and it booted up, even though the 5 previous attempts it did nothing.
