Tracking accuracy - treadmill desk

How can I accurately track the distance, pace and calorie burn when I use a treadmill as a walking desk?

Is there an appropriate activity I can set it to? I tried "other" and distance is totally off. I presume this is because I don't use any hand movements (since I'm busy typing like now). Likewise, the same issue with using "indoor running".

If I don't assign an activity to it, the calorie burn seems to be way off in that it does not give me any calorie burns for being "active" even though my steps are being counted when on the treadmill.

Any suggestions please?

(I've ran on the treadmiill and also outdoors - calorie burns, distance, pace etc are as expected so I have no problems there).
