Weather Widget temp indicated stuck at this mornings low.

So far I've shut off and re-started the 235, shut off and re-started bluetooth on the 235, shut off and re-started bluetooth on the Iphone SE, shut off and re-started the iphone SE with zero effect at all, the weather widget is still showing this mornings low as the current temp. BTW, the weather app on the iphone is showing 78 degrees and not the 63 degrees the 235 is stuck at. Any other suggestions on how to get this widget working properly.
  • Figured out the problem, I recently purchased a Garmin 61LMT GPS and installed Garmin Links for that device. Apparently the Links weather widget will override the Weather app on an iphone so my 235 is reporting the temperature data for Hot Spring, VA which is at a higher elevation AND about 20 miles from where I am actually located. If anyone has a suggestion of how to change that particular "preference" for the 235 I would appreciate knowing how to do that.
  • I have a problem with the temperature display on my Forerunner 235, that I have had for a while without this issue.

It keeps changing so that it displays the value in Farenheit.

I change it back to Centigrade by going into:

    Run - Settings - System - Units - Temperature

It then displays as I wish it to in Centigrade.

However, within minutes it has changed back to Farenheit.

Is there a way to make it stick with Centigrade?
  • Check the settings in Garmin Connect and Garmin Connect Mobile as well as on the watch.

    HTH

    CW
  • Nope, tried every possible combination.

Still going back to Farenheit all the time.

It's minor, I can live with it I suppose.
  • OK

So, I changed the temperature unit to Celsius in the 'Bike' mode rather than the 'Run' mode.

I'm back to displaying Centigrade now!
