Training plan

HI

I have a 235 and I have upload a training plan its hows on my calendar on garmin connect and on my phone but when I open it on my watch on training calendar it says " download your training calendar from garmin connect" I did this but still the same

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong

    There is currently and issue where Garmin Connect is not sending the Training Calendar to the correct location on devices. This is an issue that is being worked on and we will be providing more updates to this thread once we have more information or a resolution.

    The workouts are all currently going to the My Workouts section of your device.

    Same Issue

    I'm having this same issue and just spent HOURS trying to fix it. When will Garmin be correcting this? I almost wiped my device (which would have made me very upset). This is a feature I literally use everyday.

  • I posted aquestion about exactly the same problem i have withmy 235. I Cant upload a training programme to my watch (last year this was no problem) how you Fix this?? My marathon schedule Starts in januari...

    Hi, try making a change in the calendar like moving a workout to a different day (you can move it back later). That should force a sync to the watch.  Good luck!

  • Thanks Simon, but it doesn't work... problem is that I don't have the "send to device" option anymore in Garmin Connect.  On my 235 I keep getting the msg  "download your training agenda from Garmin Connect". The only thing I can do is manually copy all my training days into a seperate workout. This workout I can send to my device... But this is not practical (I have a marathon schedule of 4 months!!).  So it is just that at Garmin some idiot decided to leave out the "send to device" option!

    Hi Peter, I had the same problem but re-scheduling a workout in the calendar seemed to trigger a sync for me - which I believe is supposed to be the behaviour of the app now as opposed to the "send to device" option. Must be really frustrating for you.

  • It is... but I had a reaction from garmin product support. Hopefully that can lead to something...
