I have Live Tracking set to autostart and every single outdoor run I get a Live Tracking failed notification on my watch. What do I need to do to make this work?
(I'm only venturing a guess as to the possible cause here, since I don't use auto-start for LiveTrack because I haven't upgraded the firmware on my FR235 beyond v5.40…)
Was your FR235 connected with your mobile device and your mobile device connected to the Internet, when you started your outdoor runs? Being able to send data every minute from the watch to the cloud-based Garmin Connect service while you're running is a core requirement for LiveTrack to function.
First time I tried it it never worked and I used auto start. Second time I started it myself just after I started the run and left the app open on my phone and worked great.
As above, try keeping the app open when you start your run see if that works. I'm no expert just a thought.
