Cannot install apps

Hi I have a forerunner 235. Just update to v6.3. I'm trying to download apps off connectIQ but I get this error on the webpage...

This app requires an update of your Forerunner 235. Please use Garmin Express to update your Forerunner 235.

But it's already been updated. I verified by using the Garmin Express application and it is up to date. I cannot download any apps/widgets/watchfaces/etc.

Here is what was wrong and how I fixed it. Just after I got the watch I got a new phone. The watch had been paired with the only phone. When I copied all my apps to the new phone this made the watch unhappy for some reason, even after pairing with the new phone. The solution was to delete the garmin connect mobile app from my phone and reinstall. This solved the issue.

You need to verify the firmware revision on the watch, not on GE. Go to settings:system:about and check there.

This is an issue where it seems the app store is out of sync when it comes to the FW installed on the watch and this issue is being worked by garmin.
See this thread for some possible workarounds. The one on the last page is the newest and worked where other things failed.
