Has anyone found a replacement for the included watch band? The material tends to irritate my skin (especially on hot and humid days). So, I'd like to find a cloth or even leather replacement. Anyone else out there have the same issue?
Have you tried putting body glide on your wrist? I find that helps with sweat rash or areas that get sweaty easily. I guess you're rinsing after use.
Personally I wouldn't put a leather strap, if there's one that'd fit. It would rub more when wet and a cloth one could become uncomfortable when sweaty.
Just to add ... I had a cloth strap, and it became very smelly quite quickly (few weeks) due to me sweating quite a lot during activities (even though I was washing it well after exercise ... not well enough apparently).
Sorry my post may have been a bit misleading ... actually, it was for a watch before this one. I bought it at a local drug store if I remember ... just found one that would fit. My point was that cloth straps (in general) will tend to get smelly when you exercise/sweat a lot. Mine did anyway, and I cleaned it regularly and aggressively to no avail!
I'd find a store that sells watch bands and find one the fits with little or no adjustment.

After a day or so, yes, so I take it off at night to charge (since sleep tracking on the FR235 is pretty hopeless anyway), or at least switch wrists for wearing the watch every day or so.
I ended up exchanging my 235 for a 230 (I just wasn't using the optical HR enough to justify the extra cost). At first I thought both units were identical (minus the optical HR sensor), but it seems the wrist strap is made out of a completely different material. Whatever this thing is made out of, it's much more comfortable than the 235 band.
No irritation, no excessive sweating under the band, no RASH!
So, if anybody else is having the same issues that I was, maybe look for a 230 replacement band online.
