I frequently run on the treadmill and have been using the run indoor mode. However, even though I have logged nearly 1000 miles outside the distance and pace accuracy on the treadmill is not to my liking. For example, if I run at an even 5.4 mph (11:07 min/mile) speed per the treadmill for 5 miles, the watch will show wild and inaccurate split information such as: 10:50, 11:30, 11:55, 12:05 and 11:45 and the data is different each time..even though I am not increasing/decreasing the speed on the treadmill. To work around this I have created a workout under the Other mode and use the lap press once the treadmill reaches the 1 mile point. However, the problem now is that I am unable to enter a distance for each lap and am only able to enter a total distance. My runs always start off with a 5-10 min warmup and end with a 5-10 min cool down and I would like to be able to enter the distance information. Is there a workaround or a better option that will suit my needs?
