Pairing problems

Lately (a couple of weeks) i'm having problem with the connection between my android phone (and the Garmin Connect app) and the forerunner 230.
Usually when the watch was near the phone the connection was established automatically. Now the do not. The only way to make them see eachother is to remove the current watch from the app and to restart the pairing operation.

is it a problem with the app? or with the forerunner 230? o the marshmallow update installed lately?

I'm having the same problem. I can't get it to pair. I removed the FR230 from Garmin Connect Mobile, and no matter what I do, the app can't find my watch. Bluetooth is on on the phone, and the watch is "waiting to connect." Watch is sitting on top of the phone, and still no go. I've restarted the watch and my phone several times. The only way I can currently get the watch to sync is with the USB dongle and my computer using Garmin Express.

Edit: It finally paired! I had to completely remove the watch from Garmin Connect (both Mobile and non), then add it back and sync via computer. After that, the FR230 successfully paired and connected. Woo hoo!
