I have a Forerunner 235 watch that I wear that measures speed, heart rate, time but will not measure distance when I am on my bike. GPS vibrates that it is enabled. I also use a Garmin 500 at the same time and a speed and cadence sensor. What am I doing wrong?
Few thoughts. Goto bike mode, goto outside, start the timer and then walk up the road a bit. Does distance go up then?
When on the bike, what sensors are showing as connected? Is this a combined speed/cadence sensor (GSC 10 perhaps) or 2 separate ones? Does the Edge 500 work OK?
Distance accumulation problems can sometimes be resolved by merely powering off the watch and on again.
