Hello did anyone experienced date/time change on 235 after update?
I tried to change manualy but this is only time I can change but not date.
When coming back for automatic setting of date/time then going wrong -earlier of 23hours
  • The same happened for me when updating the Display A1 Firmware 2.20, and I've read that 5.20 does the same thing (including wiping out all your steps for the day too!). I am waiting until tomorrow morning to do my 5.20 update so I don't lose a day's worth of step data.

To correct your time, go outside and acquire a GPS signal in an activity with GPS (i.e. RUN). Time is set by GPS. Make sure you have the setting "Set Automatically" to on ... Up Arrow - long press, Clock Options, Set Automatically.

I did all three updates today at the same time. I can't speak for others, but my date/time and steps were not affected in any way.
  • Mine did the reboot cycle thing where it beeped with Garmin logo, then blank screen for a bit ... repeat this about 5-6 times ... then back on. This cycle thing has never happened to me before now?? I didn't do anything to intervene ... it finally just came back to clock face eventually.

  • did all updates and no issues for me.

lock onto GPS outside... then power cycle watch.... sync.... seems to always get mine working right again fast after a hard reset or a change in time zone.
