Any problem with feeling the vibration?

I have a Vivoactive HR and love it except for the weak vibration when receiving notifications. I can barely feel it and miss calls frequently. I've set the alarm every night for a week and I sleep right through it.

The Forerunner 235 does everything I need a fitness tracker to do and I would pay the difference if I knew the vibration was noticeable. I had the original Vivosmart and the vibration would wake me from a deep sleep. Forerunner 235 owners, does the Forerunner 235 have a strong, noticeable vibration? What about the 230? I'm not adverse to wearing a chest strap for HR and all day HR is not important to me. Thanks.

It vibrates enough to get my attention when notifications forwarded from my phone come in (while I'm awake). I don't use the watch as a silent alarm, so I can't tell you if it buzzes hard enough to quietly wake me up.
  • Hate to say it, but the vibration is probably identical.

I used to miss alarms on my 235.. until I started tightening the strap just a bit before bed. Not as tight as when I'd go for a run or otherwise need the OHM, but enough so that the watch would make contact with my wrist at all times. When I started doing that, I stopped missing alarms. Haven't missed one in 3-4 months.

My alarm vibration and move notification were fine up until Tuesday last week as I forgot to switch them off on holiday. However I am back now and re-enabled them. The screen lights up with the alarm but there is no longer the vibration. Not much use if I am asleep and therefore don't see the screen! I updated both the iOS app and the vivosmart software in the past 48 hours or so - maybe this is a new accidental feature?

Check the Vibration toggle in the Sounds settings under System. (Press from the watch face.)

Yeah, Garmin broke this with their Connect app earlier in the week. It's now fixed, but you have to go in and manually turn the sound/vibration back on in settings.

I have same problem with my new Vivosmart HR+ vibrations not working

I bought my vivosmart HR+ last Sunday and the notifications and vibrations were good enough for me, but as I upgraded the Garmin app, not all the notifications are coming through and the vibration disappeared.
My settings are set with sound on but not all notifications are coming through and no vibration at all. .
Beside that I'm road biking and there is not option on the workout setting on the watch. That doesn't help me!! I might return the watch altogether !!
