Heart Rate Monitor Stop Working

Hi,

After synced my FR235 via cable, my heart rate monitor stopped working. I looked at the WHR firmware and it was 0.00. I tried to install via Garmin Express, it didn't work. Tried to install via WebUpdater, still, it didn't work although it said the installation was successful. I tried that again and again, still, it was 0.00. I also tried this website http://gawisp.com/perry to update the sensor hub manually, but still not working.

Thank you very very much for your support.
  • In my experience, when the firmware reads 0.00, it often points to hardware failure.

I think in your case you should do a full factory reset and restore. If that doesn't do the trick, your only option is to give Garmin Support a call to replace the device (hopefully it's still under warranty).

Thank you very much, for your suggestion,scottj2

It's still under warranty, luckily, and I sent it back to Garmin. Hope that the new one will be sent back to me soon.
