FR 230 and multiple foot pods

Hi.

Can the FR 230 be paired with two foot pods at the same time? To be clear: I don't want to connect and use two foot pods at the same time. I just want to pair them both to the FR230, thus having two foot pod entries in the list of the known sensors. Then, when I go for an activity which requires one specific foot pod, I want to be able to connect it (and only it) in the normal way (by waking it up with movement). Has anyone tried this? Thanks.
  • Given that you can have multiple HR paired (but only one working at a time), I would say multiple footpod would work also.

    Hi,

    In short, yes you can.

The Forerunner 230 stores a pool of ANT+ devices. I use 2 hrm straps and 2 footpods. The Forerunner connects to the first device available (of each category) & this works seamlessly. On my old Forerunner 220,I had to manually redetect each device when swapping them over.
