The Owner's Manual states that the FR235's operating temperature range is from -20º to 60ºC, and that the device is water resistant to 5‑ATM, so one can argue that sitting the device in a container of water at ≤60°C ought not cause any damage or compromise the construction of the device – including anything that is not meant to be removed by the user before use.
