Different watch bands

Can you use any 22 mm watch band on the garmin forerunner 235 or do they have to be specific to the watch?

You can use any bands that fit, they don't need to be specific to the watch.

i also have a need for an answer to this. There are a number of bands for Samsung galaxy watches that are 22mm. But somehow they don't say they are compatible with my Garmin 935 and vice-versa. I there anything else different besides the pin width? It would be great if somebody could confirm whether all 22mm bands can fit in all 22mm watches.
