Bluetooth intermittent disconnected.. causing Livetrack to stop working.

I started having Livetrack issues when running outdoors ... while tracking, it'll just stop working.

Took me a while to discover that the stoppage is consistent when Bluetooth is disconnected between the Fr235 and my phone.

I tried again to stimulate an activity at home while activating Livetrack and Bluetooth disconnects after 10mins or so as well.

Does anyone face similar issue on Bluetooth disconnect?

It was a recent issue which I only found out when Livetrack stops working.

Thanks.

    Can anyone help?

Same issue during the latest run yesterday. Was thinking that maybe if i just stop and start bluetooth on my phone each time Livetrack disconnects, it will help.

But no, it doesn't. Even if the bluetooth connection is back on, Livetrack doesn't resume. And because of this constant tracking of the Bluetooth connection, i realises the disconnection frequency is really bad.. on a 10k run, it disconnected at least 8 times!

I spent more time troubleshooting issues since getting the FR235 and HR+ then actually training with them..
  • Phone and watch on same side?

I suspect that what you'd like is for Live Tracking to resume after Bluetooth reconnects, but as a workaround you could try to reduce/eliminate the disconnects. I run with my phone in an armband on the same arm where I wear the watch. I don't think I've ever had Bluetooth disconnect during a run.
