Forerunner 230/235 Distance in miles, lap pace in KM

Distance in miles, lap pace in KM

My watch is set to record distance in miles and in addition to that one of my fields is set to record my pace per lap. Recently whilst I can still do distances in miles my pace has reset to KM. I've not made any changes so unsure what to do. Can anyone help me? Ian.

PS- still have some problems with my watch turning on sometimes so don't know if this is related.

Goto Settings, System, Units and change it.

I should have said, I checked that previously and it was all in miles. Tried it again after your response but settings as they were.

If it keeps reverting to KM then check what your units are on Garmin Connect and the mobile app as might have been synched from that.

Last few days I've had a similar problem. Watch is reverting itself to miles. I want it in kms. I set it to kms on both the watch and GC and the app and it just keeps reverting. Seems like an issue with GC so if you set it on the watch and don't sync anywhere it should hold. Another example of crappy Garmin SW development. I'm so sick of their crap, nothing gets fixed properly and nothing working stays working. I'M SO OVER IT AAARRRRGGGHHH Damn. You. Garmin.

Same problem already reported, and always ignored. And clearly a mistake web platform Garmin Connect.
Please the problem is very annoying, try to solve it.

We appreciate the discussion in this, and other threads regarding this issue. We have escalated the issue of Garmin Connect overwriting device settings, or not saving user settings to the Connect team for further investigation. We do apologize for any inconvenience this caused while a resolution is being worked on.

Same problem

Have you noticed that units changes as well after synchronizing with Bleutooth? I have the same problem with time format and units (change from km to miles).

This issue is back in 6.30.

Why can't you get this seemingly trivial part right once and for all?!
