Garmin Connect - Training Plan - Problems with HR Zones

Hello everyone.
Not much I became a Garmin Forerunner 235 with ago.
I open this thread because I'm trying to schedule me for marathon training which facilitates Garmin through Garmin Connect platform and think something is not quite right. Comentároslo wanted to see if any know that can be spent. If any of my failure, or program, or that is how it should be.
The idea is to schedule training sessions basing in heart rate, for which I have previously assured of having these well established in the corresponding section in the device configuration-training zones. The've established by% FC reserve and I scored my resting HR. Finally I left created zones for Carrera and secondary activities (for Cycling I have not created, because at the moment I will not do).
Well, when I think training (filtered by race, level III and Heart Rate) sessions designed the set for me a heart rhythms that have nothing to do with my areas. For example, if I mark Z4 series for the plan they would be between 156 and 174, when my Z4 would be between 134 and 146.
As I said, do not know if this is normal and expected that I retouching session to session to fit my actual keystrokes, or the system should assign my real pulse to each zone programmed that for that previously known (I say this the latter would be normal).
For all that, that I'm a mess. I would like to start right plan, but in these conditions I do not see it very convenient.
See What can you tell me.
Thank you very much for reading and sorry for the billet.
  • Training Plan -wrong Heart rate zones

I too have the same problem.

The heart rate zones assigned in the training plan bear no relation to those set before. I have just finished a 16 week half marathon plan, intensity based on heart rate zones. All worked perfectly, synced to my forerunner 410.

Now when I schedule a 5k programme, it uses, completely different heart rates fort the zones, and I have no way to change it. Even without syncing to the watch (or with).

Any ideas how I can overcome this?

  • Workaround

I just had the same problem, so I came on here to see if anyone had found a solution. To date, the only thing I have found that works is if you open the workout from the calendar, edit it, change the heart rate zone from what it is supposed to be to something else (e.g. change it from Z3 to Z4), press save, then change it back to what it was before (e.g. change it back to Z3 from Z4), and save it again.

Now, when you look at the workout again, it should have updated your HR range to your own range from your device settings.

Seems like a bit of a bug to me, but at least this let's you get your training plan targeting the right HR range for you.
  • I have experienced the same issue, default heart rate zones in the training plan do not seem to adapt my customised zones.
As above, if you edit a workout, it does take on these changes. But is this the only workaround? Editing every single workout in the training plan is a completely unworkable solution!
  • There is no actual need for a workaround, except to satisfy some compulsive need to see the ‘right’ HR values in the pop-up when reviewing the Calendar entries. • Excellent, thanks, that post is what I wanted to hear.
