230 charging question

Probably a silly question as I suspect I already know the answer!

I received my watch today, it is totally dead. I have plugged it in but I don't think it is charging. I get the same battery/lightning icon whether it is plugged in or not and it won't turn on. It has been plugged in for about 2 hours.

It's got to go back hasn't it?
  • How are you charging it? Try plugging it into a USB phone charger, and if you have done that, try a different charger. Also leave it for a good few hours to be sure

    I've tried it charging it via the computer and with my iphone plug. I've been out and left it on. I'll see what other plugs I have and leave it over night. It is no more responsive now than when I unboxed it 5 hours ago. Sadly I only have one clip as my previous watch (FR10) has a totally different cable (but at least it works!).

    Hurray, success!

    I did a factory reset and it has dutifully started to charge up, only 99% to go!
