Heart Rate Monitor what to high

Today I went out for a run about 3 miles in my heart rate reading started hitting 200. I did a quick pulse check on my neck and I was around 150. I took the watch off and continued to run and it still was giving readings up in the 190's for the next 3 miles even though I wasn't wearing the watch.

Hi, I got some simmilar Problems, with that i mean my HR also gives me crazy readings... But as i just got my watch a week,so i dont know if it's a Software bug or a Hardware problem :(

But on my last run it also showed me way to high readings, like 180 when i was 140..... therfor i guess its a simmilar thing

The funny thing is i took mine completely off my wrist and for the next 3 miles it was still hitting 190's. In no way the optical sensors were reading my skin. I had them pointed away from me.

Same problem of crazy readings sometimes...
despite the great engineers here say that it is not possible, I noticed ( and other users with me ) that the behavior is related to two factors (so in any case it seems a software bug): the installed widgets/datafields number and the overcoming of a certain threshold pace or cadence lock
    my two cents
