Randomly turned off, erased all my data, and now is 26 hours behind...

That's right. As I was going to the gym I guess my garmin shut off and I didn't notice until I got to the treadmill. I turned it back on and thought everything was ok but once I got off it said that it was Sunday at 11pm. So I have three problems.
My run is logged for the wrong date
My data wasn't synced for the whole day, so thats gone -- my garmin hasn't been syncing as frequently as it did in the past now it requires a lot of nurturing to sync with the app. Previously it synced way too often and was obnoxious
And my forerunner is on the completely wrong date.

Any help with any of these issues would be awesome!

I've loved my Garmin up until right now.

Thanks,
Tina

Your FR235 effectively performed a reset on itself spontaneously and without user intervention. To correctly set the date and time after that, you need to ensure that the watch is configured to set the time automatically, then go outside, prep a GPS-tracked (Run, Bike, or Other) activity, then wait for the watch to acquire satellite signals.

Garmin Express (or possible Garmin Connect Mobile) has transferred the newly released firmware 4.70 file to your FR235 on last sync, but while the file is sitting in the watch's on-board storage, you haven't given it approval on the device itself to install the update.
