Do you always wear the 235?

Hello,

I'm wondering how comfy this is as an all day activity tracker or if most of you are justing wearing while exercising? I'm really interested in hearing if women find this comfy to wear? It certainly is a lot smaller than Garmins of the past but still a significant size.
  • Wearing FR 235 in shower

I noticed that you guys seem to avoid wearing FR 235 while showering. Is there any reason behind?

I wore mine during shower quite a lot (especially after a run and it is soak in sweat so I just want it to be washed).

Is it ok to shower the watch regularly? :D

When I had one, I always showered with rhe 235...same goes for my F3HR.

The watch can take showering...no risk for breaking it.

I and some other users have noticed that the Elevate sensor might give super high hr readings when hot water goes between skin and sensor...other than that there is no reason not to shower with it.

i wear mine 24/7 and im female.

its not bulky either and i have very small wrists. its also the most comfortable sports watch i have (had 2 suunto's which irritated my skin, especially during exercise).

I wash the 235 under faucet on its own after the run, then dry it off and set it on the charger, then shower myself.
I don't wear it in the shower because I'd rather scrub my entire arm and not just 98% of it.
  • I seem to be the odd one out :D
I used to wear it 24/7 but now, as I found the sleep tracking a little inaccurate I take it off to sleep, otherwise it's on the rest of the time...even in the shower.

You're not the only one. I bought it for the so called automated sleep tracking but it's so bad at that that I stopped wearing it at night. An example of how stupid it is: I can be active around the house and then take it off to charge and it assumes I have instantly gone into a deep sleep. I doesn't have the simple logic to understand that if it's plugged into the charger in the middle of the day I am probably not asleep. Also, a couple of times a week I would have to manually edit my sleep times because it got them wrong.

Don't even get me started on the cadence lock issues with this watch...
