I picked up a 235 a couple of days so far and really like it so far. One thing that I haven't been able to figure out is how to get texts to come through on it. The fenix 3 hr that I'm trying out right now does it perfectly. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Did you set the appropriate alert to come through on the Garmin Connect Mobile on your phone? I had to select the text app I use (not my phone's standard)

What is the name of the text app that you use? That sounds strange that they don't have a built-in app that works.

Open the Connect IQ app on your phone. You should see the 3 horizontal bars (top left). Click on them and choose Settings then Smart Notifications from the menu. You should be able to toggle Text Messages ON/OFF and/or add any other app on your phone (Click on the ... on top right)
I have the Garmin 520 and an I phone 6s, not getting any text message notifications. I tried going in to settings on the Garmin Connect app , my weather and notifications look like they are on. suggestions?
