Can't upgrade to 4.6 :(

Hey guys :)

when will 4.6 be available to FR235 that were bought in Thailand ?

why is this always the last to get the update ????

shouldn't I've received it by now ? ...

I'm still on 4.2 didn't even get 4.3 yet and now there's 4.6

Any advice (besides "shut up and wait" ? )

Devices sold in different regions have different software release cycles. Currently the most recent software version for Forerunner 235s in Asia is 4.20. We do not have a time frame on when a new version will be released for that region.

Is it safe to manualy install from a Forerunner235_460.gcd file i downloaded ?

or will it mess up my device ?

We would not recommend attempting to load that file on to your device. Since that GCD file is designed for a device in a different region, at best it would just sit on your device and not process, but at worst it could corrupt the unit and make it non-functional. We would recommend that you continue to use the most recent software release for the Forerunner 235 in your region.
