I followed the manual to set the hrr heart rate zone as
55-59
59-65
65-74
74-84
84-100
But after several running , the watch changed the zones to much higher %, do anyone know why?
Should i just keep on recorrect it?
Thx

    WOW! mutation!

my old HRR zone setting in watch, garmin connect in phone and web:
    55-59
    59-65
    65-74
    74-84
    84-100

without any running, after two days, in the watch now becomes
    65-68
    68-73
    73-80
    80-88
    88-100

AFTER 1 hour, it is now
    73-76
    76-79
    79-84
    84-91
    91-100

but in the web of garmin connect is still the old setting!!
I will die if I follow the zone setting for running!!

so.... switch to max HR will help?
I decided to use standard max HR zonation and see if it will change by itself!

    to 97-91, 91-83, 83-77, 77-69, 69-63

    Wow

I'm having the same problem - The zones in the watch keep changing . i set HRR with a fixed RHR and 50-70-80-90-100 zones on GC and on the watch - then some time later on the zones change on the watch only . I was running with a BPM of 140 that should be top range of Zone 2 and was registering as Warmup zone 1
  • Running into this same issue. As someone that is training for a half marathon based on %HRR and heart rate zones, this is incredibly annoying. I discovered it a few runs ago when I was supposed to be in a warm up Zone 2, yet my 235 kept saying that my HR was out of zone range, even at 130. Again, such a mess in terms of software.
  • Should also note that I'm on beta 5.07 for the 235 firmware, and it's still an issue.
