is there a way how can I use GPS together with Glonass also for IQ apps? The settings where I choose between GPS and GPS+GLONASS for standard profiles is missing for IQ apps.
I might be wrong but my understanding is that when you have GLONASS on it is on for any GPS-based application so I would assume it it true for the IQ ones too.
But the setting is related to independent sport profiles, so I can turn it on for running, but it will remain off for bike for example. And as "gps only" is default option, I guess that this is used also for IQ apps, where I can't change it.
check out this thread int he CIQ forum. Similar request, does not look like the FR235 or FR230 have a reliable way to confirm if GPS+GLONASS is enabled. Just that you are getting a position reading.
Changing the GPS Setting By default, the device uses GPS to locate satellites. For increased performance in challenging environments and faster GPS position location, you can enable GPS and GLONASS. Using GPS and GLONASS reduces battery life more than using only GPS.
SelectMenu > Activity Settings > GPS > GPS + GLONASS.
From this statement I would derive that when GLONASS is on it is on for all activities (IQs or not).
