The heart rate, HR Zone does not show up while running. Does anybody else faced the same issue?

I believe I noticed this happening since the 4.20 update. However, I just wait until the heart is showing before I start the workout. It usually takes a minute or two, whereas previously it was ready immediately. However, I've had no problems with the heart rate monitor once it's ready.
I had a couple runs now where my HR was missing for the first couple minutes. Now, I diligently check to see if there is a HR within the Run activity before I start. Often I will see what you do ... no HR, so I back out of the activity to the clock-face, press DOWN to check the default HR widget - I wait until the heartbeat goes solid indicating it has locked onto my HR (which usually is within 10-15 secs). Then, when I go back to start my run, the HR is showing and the graph is complete later. Pain in the butt, but better than standing there waiting, waiting ...

That's exactly what I had to do when I was using the "Other" mode when I was recording a walk activity, so it seems its not just an issue with the Run activity.

I have the same problem. It started today. 3 months after I first bought the Forerunner 235. It still detects your resting heart rate at the clock screen but not during activity recording which is a bummer because I can't record my heart rate zones and VO2 Max numbers. I suspect it's a faulty heart rate monitor. Let me know if anyone's got a solution for this problem. It's driving me nuts the whole day.
