Blue tooth sync no go after 4.3. Help!

Been a Garmin guy since the 101 and have had about every
watch since. Can't get the 235 to sync with my IPhone SE. Never an issue- until 4.3. Tried my bag of things nothing works. Garmin customer assistance is closed. Help please. Nick

similar problem on my s6 - starting December 2015 i lost the ability to sync rounds/scorecards via blue tooth and by direct connection as well. I have tried deleting my device and reinstalling - and all my software is up to date. Getting ready to leave the garmin family if there isn't an easy fix this. I not been able to sync and load the data for my last 8 rounds or so. Any ideas?

Here the same problem, after update 4.30 and WHR 2.60 the Bluetooth connection doesn't work anymore. We can sinc with the cable but all the extra things as live tracking etc with BT connection is not working.

    I have an IPhone 6S.

    Please Garmin, fix this.
  • I have just bought mine and it won't sync to either PC on direct connection or the phone via Bluetooth. I get told there are updates available do I want to install them, so you click install and it asks you to log on again then checks for updates and gives the option to install, click install and up comes the log on again, enter details and it goes through the seem loop over and over.

Had this a few days and not at all happy that it won't play with the software and there is little option to sync with anything else.

Do I take the opportunity now and take it back for a refund as not working or is there a fix to make it work. Seems a lot to ask paying this amount out and they haven't even finished the testing, they seem to be leaving that to the customer, who is expected to do it for free!
  • Working fine here with iphone6 on latest iOS and my 235 on latest firmware updates.

Y'all have done the usual stuff of ensuring your Garmin Connect Mobile / Garmin Express software is fully up to day, hard-resetting the phone, rebooting computer, and rebooting the watch, yes?

Past that best to talk to Garmin Support and see about an exchange. These are working for the vast majority of people.
  • Have you try to remove Garmin Connect Mobile from your phone and re-install the application?
  • I have tried once, is it worth trying again before I return this watch as unfit for described purpose?
  • Sure, what do you have to lose?

It's probable that you've simply received a defective unit. Since so many people don't have any issues syncing, I'd suggest you give a replacement unit a try before your write off the model. While there are plenty of instances of user-error induced issues with bluetooth syncing, the direct wired sync to Garmin Express is kind of tough to screw up.
