RHR spike when watch is restarted or charged via USB

My RHR is usually low 50's. Last night I applied the new 4.3 update around 10 pm. After installing, the watch restarted and the 4 hour HR graph was blank, which I expect to happen. However, when viewing my RHR 7 day graph, I have a spike up to 70-ish for yesterday. It didn't retain my RHR so far that day, but rather started over from the time my watch restarted. I sat on my couch watching the tube from the time I updated to 4.3 (10pm) until past midnight and the lowest my HR went before 12am was low 70's. I have a spike like this every week, and now I realize that the same thing happens each Sunday night when I charge my phone via USB. Not a huge problem, but the OCD in me dislikes that weekly spike ... wondering why the RHR is not retained on days the watch is restarted or charged. Image attached.

  • I'e noticed the same. Was surprised to see my RHR was 70 after the update. I guess it will fix after a sleep...

No unfortunately it doesn't. You gotta live with that spike for the rest of the week ... for me, I recharge every weekend evening, so I get a spike like that every week. Luckily, it doesn't seem to be an issue on Connect IQ ... the graphs look good (on the app too).
