Do you have these problems?

I am using forerunner 235 and just updated the newest software.

1. calendar widget: shows only all day events in my smartphone calendar.

2. weather widget: lower temperature sometimes shows 0 degree celsius. Raining percentage always 0%

(using meizu mx4)

You're right! I never noticed it (quite possibly because my “daily driver” phone handset was a Windows Phone until four days ago), even though occasionally I'd connect my FR235 to my Android tablet running Garmin Connect Mobile, just to test certain things inside the app.

I created the following events for today in my calendars with different ‘in the cloud’ service accounts, with which my various devices sync, to see what appears in the Calendar widget on my FR235 once it's connected to the Garmin Connect Mobile apps:
I don't know about that with any certainty, since I can't get the Weather widget to work consistently, but last time it worked while connected to Garmin Connect Mobile app for Android, it showed this:

●21
    0/15
and today was a warm, sunny day.

Thanks for your reply! So that i know i am not alone!

Garmin asked me to reinstall the connect app in phone. I tried but the problem still persists.

Let see if there are any solutions.

    Thx for your reply!

Garmin asked me to reinstall the connect app in phone but it doesn't work.

Hope we can solve it soon.

I've just updated the firmware on my FR235 to v4.30. After creating a new one-hour test event in my Outlook calendar, and confirming that my Android handset (to which my FR235 was connected at the time) has picked it up in its native calendar (S·Planner) app, I checked the Calendar widget on my watch and the one-hour event was listed – below the all-day event I had previously set up.

I am fully updated and just switched from an iPhone to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and everything seems to work good except the calendar. The watch just keeps saying waiting for data

I have rebooted a few times etc.

All notifications, weather etc are working just not calendar

    Thougths?

    seems even worse than 4.20

Oops! Then that means even worse than before?

But Asmugdill said it is ok...

And I received no response from garmin support again!

Do they know anything about this forum?

Sometimes can catch non all day event

I found my watch can sometimes randomly pick a non-all day item in calendar.

then disappear afterwards even before the event start! so strange!

    Still 4.20 firmware.

Not sure to update or not (although not arrived HK yet) as there are so many bad comments here.

I didn't hear so much bad comments from Taiwan or HK for version 4.20.
Is the firmware so different in different countries? even the version no. is the same?

    so weird.
  • Happens here as well. Next upcoming event disappears before it even starts, as if the calendar widget has a different time zone of something...
I was just viewing the calendar on the watch, the upcoming event at 11AM was visible (it's 9AM here), then a couple of seconds later - it's gone, replaced on screen by a 3PM event...
As always, raising this to Garmin support is useless...
