LOW Heart BPM Alarm, going "crazy"?

Hello, I'm a new 235 user, and today I had my first tests and I can't figure out how to solve this, tried to search the forum but couldn't find any answer.

After I star a RUN (or any other activity), my 235 keeps sending "random" alarm (and vibration) showing:

LOW
XXbpm

The XX, looks random, it starts with 80 when starting to run, but keeps showing on 100, 120, 140, 150 even 170, they all show LOW HEART BPM
How can I turn this off or configure it properly?

Thanks!
Steve
  • Weird, sounds like an alarm but you have to set these for specific activities (not a second hand watch by any chance? That the previous owner set alarms?)

If in Running go to menu --> activity settings --> alarms

Check if anything is there... Otherwise try a factory reset of the watch to make sure all is clean. Otherwise perhaps something set in Garmin Connect?
  • Problem SOLVED

Hi FlipStone, thanks for your reply, I found out what happened :)

First if all, it was not and "alarm" but an ALERT, I've tried to set the MAX HEART RATE alert, to 185bpm. What happened was, I've set the LOW HEART RATE alert to 185bpm... so whenever I was under 185bpm the watch kept alerting me... lol.
