Setting Time on Forerunner 235

Hi all,

My Forerunner automatically changed the time on the watch face over the weekend (and reset the date to be the 1st of the month).

I went and sat outside for a good 10mins over my lunch break, to try and make it sync automatically with the satellites, but nothing has happened.

How can I get it to change back to the proper date and time?

There is no other method to set the date on the FR235, than to configure the firmware to set the clock automatically by GPS.

Did you leave your watch displaying the watch face throughout that time? The FR235 will not attempt to get a GPS signal unless you prep it for a GPS-tracked sports activity (by pressing from the watch face) such as Run.

Thanks - this fixed my problem.

Thanks for tip to start an activity to get GPS working and picking up current DAY and DATE.
