(Unfortunately I cannot confirm it for you by performing an experiment right now, since it's nearly 3AM and I live in an apartment among tall buildings, so I can't get a GPS signal even when I stick my arm out of the window – believe me, I tried! – and I don't feel like getting out of my pyjamas to go out, sorry.)

I don't see it in the 230/250 manual, but it's also on those devices. If you hold the up button when you're in a run activity (for example), you get a menu, and back to start is one of the selections. When recording, pressing start brings up the resume/save/discard menu, and it's also after those
