This morning my Forerunner230 is showing a message App Connection Required when trying to scroll through the calendar and weather. Looks like a letter C with the bluetooth symbol in red upper right. I have checked my iphone bluetooth settings and the watch is connected. When looking at the bluetooth settings through the forerunner it shows, bluetooth Status waiting for App. I've also just plugged my watch into the computer and connected it to Garmin Express and opened up Garmin Connect. Everything seems fine.
I've tried opening up the calendar and weather app in my phone to see if they had to be active. It didn't help.
Is there a setting that I am missing? I'm not sure why this changed overnight. I have not had an issue with it before.
I would appreciate any help. The manual doesn't seem to be much help.
