Hey Folks, considering either a 230 or 235, but wondering how the indoor run function works. Is it reliable for distance?
Will either the 230 or 235 do this? Hows the step counter, does it work decently?

I think the brightness is fine, but the “from the bottom of the face” part sort of annoys me. I think it looks cheap. But it’s only really noticeable (to me) on black faces with nothing at the very bottom of the screen, so I put on an analog face with the “6” there and I don’t notice it.
I enjoy running outside a lot- MUCH more than running on a treadmill or indoor track. However, on the treadmill you can monitor your pace, time, distance quite easily, because the treadmill does it for you. So, i was wondering what people do in order to measure their times on runs. I'm considering purchasing a timex device, or the nike ipod device to better track my runs. But I wanted to know what other people had been doing before i made this investment. Tracking distance & time during outdoor runs.
