Alarm not working

Anyone have issues with alarms not going off? Until today they worked just fine. This morning my alarms set to go off every weekday at 6:45am and 11:30am did not go off.
  • I had the same issue yesterday. I deleted the alarm, reset the watch, set up a new alarm and it worked this morning.

I never had a problem before yesterday, but now I'm setting an alarm on my phone as a backup.
  • Thanks

Thanks, I was able to get a new alarm so I guess I'll delete and then add back my old alarms.

Still having this issue. I have two alarms for two different waking scenarios (6:10 and 6:35). The watch alarms seem to break if you go in and simply enable and disable one and the other. i have to create a new alarm every time to be sure.
  • Alarms work well for me

It might be worth doing a hard reset. http://www8.garmin.com/manuals/webhelp/forerunner230/EN-US/GUID-FE7137DB-B929-4BD6-B76F-EC5E27AD50B3.html For me, I usually have 6 alarms for three different wakeup scenarios (with a second safety alarm 5 minutes later). I'm usually able to just turn two off and turn two on (maybe I need to adjust the hour, but I keep the base minutes at :00 :20 and :40 ).

Once around Nov I actually needed the second alarm; around that time the forums had some postings of people who'd upgraded to 5.40 having issues. I'd recently updated to 5.40 . The recommended fix was to delete the alarm and when it was recreated it would be fine, so I deleted all six, remade them and I've been being annoyed by my second alarm going off while I'm awake and getting ready since then.
  • Alarms problematic on iphone?

Last week on Tue and Wed my alarms didn't wake me up. So I started wearing my pebble, and set it for one minute earlier. It turns out the alarms weren't going off. Later I discovered that my watch was paired to my work iphone - I usually only have it paired when I'm on a run while I'm oncall, and otherwise the bluetooth is turned off on this.

Normally throughout the day or my other runs it's paired to android devices; a Moto G, Nexus 7 LTE or LG gpad iii .

Once I turned off bluetooth again on my iphone, the garmin alarms have been working. But now I'm still a bit gun shy so I've been also wearing the pebble to sleep.

I thought that the resolution would be to simply have one alarm and change the time on it but this morning it failed me.

Essentially it seems if you have variable wake up times you have to delete and create a new alarm every time.
