I've completed two activities since updating. In both instances, as soon as my watch completed it's sync with Garmin Connect on my mobile, my 235 powered off and then restarted. All the info remained with the exception of my last 4 hr heart rate graph. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm getting sync errors now... can't upload my workouts to garmin connect. yay!
  • Was working fine until 4.10 update.

My 235 was working perfectly until I updated to 4.10, now I get the stuck at 66 fault (off/on fixes it but shouldn't have to do this) and now fails to sync via either bluetooth or cable. Not good enough. I payed good coin for this device NOT happy. :(
  • I'm getting sync errors too. It won't sync to my desktop Mac or my phone (Nexus 6). Garmin Express on the Mac says there are multiple files that can't be uploaded and suggests I delete them manually.

Same here. Hopefully it's something temporary with Garmin Connect. I'm going to try again in the morning.

Update: Seems to be working fine this morning.
  • Huh...sounds like I may want to refuse the update when I restart my watch then ! I don't get the new audio prompts compatibility business, isn't that a GCM feature ?
  • Audio doesn't necessarily mean voice or speech

Sorry, but what are you talking about? If you were referring to this:
Added support for speed/pace and heart rate audio prompts.
it just means that when you are out-of-zone in a custom workout, the watch is going to beep (a short tune of five notes) at you audibly. (Yes, it'll also vibrate and display a message advising you're going too fast, too slow, etc.)

The audio prompts are a GCM feature, but the watch required a software update for the audio prompts to be fully functional in the app.

don't know if is a problem related to 4.10 or previously existent: sometimes in these messages i view wrong pace. a minute and so faster than the real pace a have - alarm was set on 4:45/km and it says i was faster on 4:41 and so but sometimes it said i was 3:34 (not possible)

Thanks for clarifying, based on the above comment it seems like the alerts are now functional in workouts too?
