Yes, and not only that, but in some other markets Garmin also includes replacement watch straps (in reversed colours) and tools for replacing straps in the box: http://www.garmin.com.tw/products/intosports/forerunner-235-solar-flare/#inTheBoxTab

Still keep in mind that you have a slight advantage in North America with the availability of the Nike black-and-volt version, so you can choose from four colour combinations locally; others (including in Australia) only have three. Of course, ultimately anyone can order from other markets internationally online these days, including using shipping forwarders where necessary to get around artificial limiting of eligible delivery addresses.

Did any of you figure out a way to order these other bands?

Thanks for those links, although in every instance only the colours common in the European, Australian and North American markets are offered, and the question was specifically about the Solar Flare (and, by extension, the Lava Red, Pink, and Gray) only sold in Asian markets.

Garmin India does not appear to offer any product information on Forerunner replacement bands on its web site.

Garmin Taiwan only offers replacement bands for the 220, 225, 620 and 920XT but not the 230, 235 or 630 in the Forerunner range on its web site.
As does Yahoo! Taiwan (no FR225 replacement bands) and PChome, which are official online distributors to where prospective customers are referred when they click on ‘Buy Online’ on the Garmin Taiwan web site.
Additionally, Momo, which is another official online distributor, offers replacement bands for the FR10/15. (Momo actually carries some other colours than the red replacement band for the FR225, even though they do not show up in the search results.)

My conclusion is that, at this time, no retailer is authorised to sell replacement bands in those other colours.

Saw on line a picture of a new 235 with orange band. Doesn't seem to be available on the Garmin site. Anyone know where I can get one? Just bought a new 2016 Mustang- Competition Orange and want to get a matching band:). Thanks. Nick

You might just have to buy the full retail package – watch and all – to get what you want. If you buy from Taiwan, it comes with a second watch band (in inverted colours) and replacement toolkit, too.

in fact you can also use all bands from the older Forerunners 220 + 620 and from Vicoactive (which is ~1mm wider than the Forerunner bands but still fits) .
