HRM Strap difference compared to 630

I'm thinking of buying 230 for myself and giving 235 to my better half (it seems OHRM work better for her) and I'm wondering if there is any difference in HRM strap between 230 and 630. I see that 630 uses HRM-Run while somewhere I see that 230 is using HRM4.

Can someone explain the difference? Thanks!

In breif - hrm run has running dynamics that 230 do not understand

Thanks for responses guys. Bought 230 and HR is MUCH better than 235. No more spikes and HR follows intervals very well. The only thing I dislike is wrist strap which is much more rigid and plasticy than the one on 235.

If you like the strap on the 235 better, then you can order that replacement strap. All the bands from the 230/235/630 are interchangeable.

I purchased the 230 on Amazon and it was bundled with the HRM3. The one sent with the 630 provides some running dynamics that the HRM3 doesn't provide.

Just to say you need a 630 to use and view the running dynamics on the HRM4/HRM-Tri
