Oddly enough mine did the same. After an hour or so, mine went back to the 71/72 reading when I accessed the widget. I hope you have different results.

When I updated to 2.41 it shot up to 120 or so the first time I accessed it and then drifted down, then every other time I accessed it would read 71. And I spoke too soon. Accessed the widget when I read your post and it read 72, but to be fair it went down to 50 fairly quickly. I accessed again about 10 seconds after it timed out and it was reading 48. Previously it would be reading 72 again. 15 seconds later and its reading 45. It also seems to be fluctuating more often than it used two when looking at the widget - going up or down by 1 or 2 bpm when looking at the display which it never did before. Rose up to 49 when looking at it and typing at the same time. So it appears that after a certain length of time it will default back to 72 and then drift down a bit quicker than it used too. Its a step in the right direction.
  • Update

Open an activity, go to menu, settings, system, then about. Scroll through that and it will show you what WHR you currently are on. If you are on 2.50, maybe you just need to reset your watch to bring everything back to normal.

Thank you. I did a reset. It worked then it synced again a few hours later and went back to stuck in 66. Two resets later- still stuck- really frustrating and when I go to the about page- it shows software 3.30

Thank you. I did a reset. It worked. But, after it synced again, went back to stuck on 66 and 2 resets later- no change.. On the about page- shows 3.30 nothing about the HR software is mentioned

I'm happy to hear that the updated version seems to be working out a bit better for you. There has been no change with my device. It's been giving me the same type of HR readings ever since the 2.30 update.
  • Are you referring to the android cache on your phone, or is there one placed on the watch when they're paired together?

Android cache, or the app cache.

Once you get to the about page press the down button to see the HR sensor version info

Hmm. Since I upgraded to 2.50, my HR has been a mess! I always experience cadence lock on my runs and that stuck around as expected...but more importantly, after my run, once my HR dropped a bit, it then went up to 163 and stuck there for 30 minutes while I was stretching and didn't go down until I happen to have looked at the widget. Now whenever I look at the widget, it often says I'm at 100ish, then incrementally goes way down to low 40s, then up to the 90s--all while sitting down, all in the period before it times out (20 seconds?), sometimes jumping by 20 BPM. It's just all over the place now. Usually when I'm sitting I'm around 62-65. Anyone having similar issues? For what it's worth, I had no HR freezing issues before.

Today and yesterday runs had very bad ohrm readings

Hrm worked well in the past, but today and yesterday had uncorrect readings. Today after 25 minutes of good measurements it added abruptely 20 bpm and kept showing high values (around 160) even if I was going at the same pace as before, when it was showing values around 140.

    OK, now i'm nervous.

Can anyone who's upgraded without problems jump in and confirm some neutral/positive experiences?
