Help! How do I activate/use a downloaded app?

I've used Garmin Express to download a couple of apps. Garmin Express shows them installed, and I can update settings. However, I can't find them on the watch. I've looked through all of the menus. One of them is simply a watch face, but I can't figure out how to activate it.

I'm sure this is a RTFM question, and I've read/searched everywhere for the answer with no luck. Can someone please let me know what to do?

Thank you!

Press the top right start button and scroll through the activities until you see IQ Apps, then enter and scroll if you have more than one. Easy when you know how ;)

Believe it or not, I still can't find it! I see Run, Run Indoors, Bike, and Other. If I go into Other, I don't see any IQ Apps in there either.

What am I doing wrong? Thanks so much for your assistance!

if you sync with a phone (I have an iphone so not sure about others), go to the GC app, select more, select your device, IQ apps, applications, select the one you have downloaded, and install. Then do the above.

Got it. I was syncing with my computer. It's Windows Vista, which must be the problem. Everything appeared to work fine, but they never actually made it to the watch.

I used the Mobile Connect app from my Ipad, downloaded and synced the same apps, and now I see them.

Thank you so much for the clues which made me try a different download/sync option!!

Yes you're right it must have been sync part...actually if you see them in your IQ apps folder under the device they are normally already installed by syncing.

Same here. Everything Synced but looks like garmin need to tweak user experience without being an apple as that would ruin the simplicity
